Devika Sood is the Managing Director of Program at FULCRUM, where she sets the strategic vision for the organization’s programmatic work advancing literacy as a civil right. She leads the design, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives that build leadership and instructional capacity across three priorities—Building Buy-In, Changing Systems, and Strengthening the Teacher Pipeline. In addition to overseeing program coherence and strategy, Devika partners directly with education leaders and systems to implement structured literacy practices and strengthen ecosystems that drive literacy outcomes for all learners.

Devika’s career spans roles as a classroom teacher, teacher leader, school administrator, leader coach, and central-office systems leader. She brings deep expertise in structured literacy, implementation science, and continuous improvement, and is relentlessly dedicated to ensuring educational equity and excellence for all students.
